About  Cardiac  Coaching

Healing from the physical pain of open-heart surgery can be overwhelming, but within 8-12 weeks, patients usually feel improvements. Emotional side effects, though, can linger for years. Anxiety and depression are the most common emotional side effects from cardiac surgery with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and cognitive dysfunction being two other common concerns – just to name some of the most frequent complications. Without support, studies have shown that mental health side effects from cardiac surgery can deeply impact quality of life. Cardiac Coaching reduces risk factors and creates awareness, provides education, and offers support!
